A CALCULATION WHICH DETERMINES  HOW MANY MONTHS OF SUPPLY OF HOMES REMAIN, BASED ON SALES AND INVENTORY  FOR A  CURRENT MONTH.

6.0 MSH is generally considered to be the dividing line between a buyer's market and a seller's market. Numbers above 6.0 MSH favor buyers and anything below favor sellers.
